How appropriate today on the day of love to walk into Church and see these lovely square leaflets saying "you are loved" placed on every chair. What a heart-warming message and to think it is unconditional.... we are so blessed. Just thought I would share with you that Jim and I became members of NorthRidge Church today on their membership Sunday. We are thrilled to be part of this beautiful community. We took home with us a couple of the leaflets because while at Church I was thinking...hmmm... I could create a photo with them, so that's what I did while Jim was having his afternoon nap. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. In my last blog, I mentioned Jim and I met a new florist in town... well let me tell you... not only is their shop amazing, but so are they. Just looking at this divine rose from them, I can still smell its magnificent fragrance. When I was doing my prompt on ephemera and routing through a box of old memorabilia, I came across our wedding invitation and my engagement ring case. Both Jim and I are believers in not taking off our wedding rings... shhh!... we did it for these photos only! Well this was a fun photo to do. One would think that going on 43 years of marriage this coming May 12 that we would know how to place our hands. It took about 10 tries and I think we finally got it.... not being spring chickens anymore, getting up and down off the floor and twisting ourselves underneath a tripod was a sight to see... maybe even a sight for sore eyes. We did have a good laugh, but we did it! Jim was off to the store yesterday and I asked him to pick up something "Valentinish" so I could use for my "having a slice" prompt for my course. I think he really wanted apple pie. Okay... I admit... it was scrumpdillyicious and I did manage to get a photo of a slice. And here's a photo of my little bear again... he's enjoying the flowers and a cup of tea!
