Recently I started learning more about working with textures, words and images and combining them together. I am having so much fun and love doing this type of photography and art. Some photos are taken with my regular lenses, mostly my 35 mm 1.8 and some taken with my Lensbaby lenses. I have a membership with Kim Klassen's "Test Kitchen" and it is excellent. Kim is an awesome teacher and offers lots of information. I am so inspired by her and love using her textures.
This picture was actually taken on the back on our son's boat parked in our driveway. It was great for using as a white background. Our granddaughter was picking flowers for me and brought me this dandelion that was all wilted. My first reaction was not to take a photo of it, but she laid it down like this and what was imperfect became perfect because it was given with so much love. How could I not photograph it, hence the wording "imperfect perfection". Well I've been practising and practising with my recent and some older photos with textures and words and I hope you enjoy them in the posts to follow.
