The lovely lady who made our daughter's wedding dress sold me her table for $20. I consider that an awesome find! We went with our daughter to pick up her dress and the lady was in the process of moving her shop from New Westminster to Vancouver and said she was leaving the table behind. I wasn't about to leave there without asking if she wanted to sell it. I was thrilled when she said yes and only wanted $20 for it. We've even decided to use it as our coffee table. The photo is just a setup for a photo shoot I was doing for the photos below. Preset: kk_daydreaming (with a couple of tweaks) Be Still 52 - "Still Moving" Where did April and May go? These past two months have been crazy busy. We built planters in the backyard... filled in the patio with lattice and a screen door... looks so beautiful and I know we are going to enjoy it over the summer.... it's like having an extra room! Then we painted furniture with chalk paint combined with work and everyday daily life, the time passed so quickly and I really didn't have a lot of time for my still life photography. I missed it so much and glad to be back at it. The photos below are from week 51. The theme is "still moving"... sounds contradictory doesn't it. What it means is creating a still that makes the viewer's eyes move throughout the photo. I hope that I have done that for you. It only took a few times and I feel like I am right back in the swing of things on IG. If you would like to follow me, my username is donnamilburnphotography. Here are some of the photos that I posted this week. That's it for this week my friends... have a great weekend!

The table is a great find, it looks great in your photographs too. All of your images are beautiful, I especially like the teacup and spoon. I am probably one of the few that don't post on IG. It seems like everyone loves it, maybe I should start. :)
