Don't you just love this time of the year with all it's autumn colour, the crisp fresh air and if you live here in British Columbia... rain! That's okay, we get used it and I have to admit the weather here has been quite lovely, although for the next couple of days we will need our umbrellas for sure. The prompt for the Studio OnLine course with Kim Klassen from Oct. 12 to Oct. 26 was "Find. Forage. Create. Most of the finds were from our own backyard and a few from walks around our neighbourhood. I really enjoyed this prompt and hope you enjoy my photos. Taken in our living room on my antique desk with side lighting. Taken in our office/studio on my prop cabinet with backlighting. Loving my new Anthropologie mug and bowl. These are all from our backyard and I used a white foam core board on the the coffee table beside the window. Taken the same way as the photo above. I bought the cute little place from one of our local thrift stores for $1.50. This photo was taken in our office/studio on a table with foam core for the background with side lighting from a north window. Our granddaughter picked out this pumpkin from the pumpkin farm. The background is our coffee table and side lighting was used. For this one I used some linen for the background and also taken in our living room with side lighting. Totally in love with my Anthropologie teacup... I'm sure you will be seeing it in lots of my photos. The background is the bag from Anthropologie. Side lighting used. Instead of going outside to find leaves, etc., I chose to use my indoor plant. I used a linen background hung over a foam core board. The table I sometimes use is one from IKEA that has slats and the spaces in between are perfect for holding the foam core boards in. Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend. Happy Halloween!
