Sunny skies, 12 degree celsius, quality time with family, a Lensbaby workshop with Kirsten Hunter, trying out the Sweet 50 Lensbaby optic, a very colourful, musical and artsy carnival, all on Granville Island, made for a fantastic and fun February afternoon yesterday. Here are some shots I took. It was not easy getting shots as there were so many people there. I was amazed I was able to capture the seagull because there was a man teasing the the seagull just as I was about to take the photo. The photo with the shoes is a lady dancing in a puddle of water. The drummers were awesome and it was so exciting to see them in procession. The ladies in The Cloth Shop were so friendly and let me take a photo of the antique sewing machine. The teddy bear belongs to Kirsten and he travels everywhere with her and even has his own Facebook page (I do say a very popular little bear). Kirsten is Lensbaby's Director of Customer Happiness for Canada Sales & Training and is excellent at her job! When Lensbaby says "Customer Happiness" is important to them, they mean it! I am looking forward to adding the Sweet 50 optic to my Lensbaby Collection. Please click on the thumbnails to see the larger photo.
